At what age can I take puppies home?
At 7 weeks of age, we complete our evaluation of the litter and make our recommendations to those clients who have submitted their deposit and are awaiting their puppy. We come to a mutual agreement on which pup will be yours and then we schedule pick up or shipping of the pup after they are a minimum of 8 weeks of age. Occasionally if it is a litter with many pups and therefore smaller at birth then we may opt to keep them up to 10 weeks of age to ensure they are strong and healthy when they leave to go to their new home. The majority of the time all pups are ready to leave at 8 weeks of age.

We believe in leaving our puppies in their natural state, as they were born, without unnecessary alterations. As we do not know how many puppies will be in a particular litter, it is hard to predict when we will have a pet quality puppy available. Sometimes a pet-quality puppy will be produced, but we do not know from what litter. Our goal is to breed for top quality and not to breed pets. You will need to complete the client questionnaire and send in the $500 deposit to reserve a puppy. When a pet quality puppy becomes available, we will go down the list of the people who have sent in the deposit as they have the first choice.

When searching for a Puppy, you need Ensure the female is of good substance, size, good strength of bone, head type, and structure. This will give the Rottweiler puppy buyer a better quality puppy in the future. We also feed our puppies a Raw Prey Model diet starting at five weeks old. Rottweiler breeders need to watch what bloodlines they use in their breeding program. Do not be alarmed by the color of your puppy at eight weeks old. Most Rottweiler puppies are a light tan to a dark tan. Each bloodline is different, and our heritage produces deep rich mahogany. It can take several months for the marking to become a darker color. Although this bloodline makes dark markings, it is possible to get lighter markings from past genetics.
